Trending Now: Rose gold engagement rings

One of the top requests from our clients in the past year has been rose gold diamond engagement rings. While the center shapes and ring designs constantly vary, it is clear that the rose gold trend is here to stay.  Oval center diamonds atop delicate micropave or bezel set bands to round or cushion cut diamonds set into custom halos, we have seen a great demand for these pink metal engagement rings.  The contrast created between the large colorless center-stone and the vibrant metal makes these engagement rings attractive to all prospective shoppers.

Rose gold is pure gold mixed with elements of copper to give it that beautiful pinkish tone. Metals such as white gold and platinum stand out on the skin and offer a very large contrast. While white gold is traditional, rose gold blends in with the skin for a demure, understated, and edgy sparkle. For those of you wanting something that sparkles but is not too flashy, rose gold is a stunning option.  While the color of the metal varies from one place to the next, at Lauren B we use a special mix of gold and other alloys to give you that perfectly subtle pink color which is not too "coppery".

rose gold cushion cut RS-155Model# RS-155 is a style we have been getting hundreds of requests on. Three rows of micropave on the band combined with diamonds along the basket of the center stone create a shimmering engagement ring with diamonds at every single angle. From any direction that you turn the ring, diamonds are shown.  Going for this design in rose gold creates more of a contrast between the diamonds and the metal creating a different kind of sparkle.

rose gold oval ringIf you love rose gold and want a big look, go for an oval with rose gold. We are going to thank Blake Lively for this stunning combination. The pink tones in rose gold give a vintage feeling that perfectly compliment an oval diamond. Ovals have made a huge comeback in the recent months and look amazing paired with this metal.  The design shown to the right is our popular model# RS-158 which features the diamond scarf beneath the center-stone for an added touch of sparkle.

vintage rose gold ringBVR-11737 is  another beautiful combination for the true vintage lover. Tiny diamonds encased in bezels edged with milgrain create a delicate antique style ring. This set is different and gives the antique feeling without harsh lines or a thick, older style band.  The idea of colored metal is certainly associated with a retro feel and it comes together beautifully in this engagement ring design

two-tone rose gold engagement ringSome of our clients have been concerned with the rose gold metal’s pink color bleeding into the main center diamond. For some clients, this means you can get away with going for a lower-color diamond which can offer you nice savings since the color will not be much of an issue when paired with rose gold. For clients that want to maintain the white appearance of the center stone, we can custom-create the design to have white gold or platinum top. This will allow the center diamond to shine white and still have a rose gold band which is the part that will show the most. See models RS-109 shown to the right for an example of a two-tone engagement ring.

Whatever center-stone shape you prefer or ring design you fancy, Lauren B has you covered when it comes to selecting a rose gold engagement ring.  Any custom design shown on our website can be created in rose gold to fit any center-stone shape.
