LAUREN B RING DESIGNS & DIAMONDS

+How long does it take to produce a ring?

Production times depend on the selected style and typically range from 2 to 5 weeks. For a precise timeline, consult your sales team member. Rush orders may also be available.

+Why does the Lauren B “halo” look different from most others I have seen?

Our handcrafted designs allow for precise craftsmanship, creating a seamless halo that is custom-made to fit the exact dimensions of your diamond—unlike cast rings.

+Can Lauren B take my old mounting and re-model it into a new custom ring?

We do not reuse metals or micropave diamonds from old settings for durability reasons. However, we can create a new custom design from scratch and recommend setting a less expensive gemstone, such as Moissanite or CZ, in your old ring as a keepsake.

+Can you re-set the pave diamonds from my old setting into a new custom ring design?

For design and durability reasons, we cannot reuse pavé diamonds. Each diamond in our settings is precisely calibrated for a uniform look and optimal integrity.

+What is the difference between platinum and white gold? Which one is better?

Platinum is a naturally white, dense metal that retains its color but has a duller finish and a higher price. White gold is a bright alloy that may develop a yellow tint over time, which can be corrected with re-plating. Both metals are excellent options, but platinum is more malleable and ideal for fine designs, while white gold is a cost-effective alternative.

+Do all of the settings shown on your website and social media come in other metal colors too?

Yes, all custom designs can be created in your choice of metal, including white, rose, yellow gold, platinum, or two-tone combinations.

+What type of quality do you use for your pave diamonds?

We use G color/VS clarity diamonds for most designs but adjust the quality to match the selected center stone. Pavé diamonds often appear brighter than larger stones due to their size.

+Do you offer engraving on engagement rings or wedding bands?

Yes, most of our rings can be personalized with an engraving on the inside of the band.

+What is the thinnest band you make?

Our signature pavé bands are as thin as 1.7mm. However, we also offer 'Super Slim' bands using a special technique for even more delicate designs.

+Do you have prices for loose diamonds currently in stock?

Our Virtual Diamond Inventory features high-quality natural and lab-grown diamonds selected for on-site availability. Unlike online databases, we personally inspect each diamond to provide clients with curated options that meet their specifications. Learn more about our diamond selection process.

+Can I purchase a loose diamond directly from the Virtual Inventory?

Yes, loose diamonds can be purchased directly from our Virtual Inventory. You may also place a 3-day hold on specific stones. If the purchase or hold options are unavailable, the stone has likely been reserved by another client. Once your purchase is complete, one of our design consultants will contact you to assist with shipping the diamond or beginning the custom design process.

+Does Lauren B provide ASET or Idealscope images?

Under most circumstances the answer is no as these images are not always accurate. Unlike online retailers, we personally inspect each diamond and provide HD videos and expert assessments. This approach ensures you see the diamond's true beauty and quality.

+Does Lauren B provide certificates for their diamonds?

Yes, all engagement rings include a certificate from a third-party grading institute, and our center diamonds are graded by the Gemological Institute of America (GIA).

+How do I know that the main diamond (purchased or provided) and GIA certificate match?

You can verify your diamond by visiting an independent appraiser, not a jeweler, or by having a sales team member check the diamond's laser inscription (if applicable).

+Are your diamonds conflict free?

Yes, all of our diamonds are conflict-free, based on information from our suppliers who adhere to the Kimberley Process.

+Do you offer lab grown diamonds as engagement ring center-stones?

Yes, we carry a wide selection of GIA and IGI-certified lab-grown diamonds. Browse our inventory.

+Do you sell clarity enhanced or fracture filled diamonds?

No, all our natural diamonds are untreated and unaltered.

+What is the difference between a Moissanite and a diamond?

Moissanites are lab-created stones with higher refraction (fire), while diamonds are natural gemstones. Moissanites are more affordable, though visually similar to diamonds. Learn more about Moissanite.

+Can any engagement ring design shown with a diamond center-stone be created for a Moissanite center, and vice versa?

Yes, any design can be created to fit most center stone types, including Moissanites and diamonds.

+Do you offer alternate gemstones such as morganites, topaz, aquamarines, etc?

Yes, we offer a variety of gemstones, including morganites, aquamarines, and topaz. Contact your design consultant for availability and pricing.
