Choosing the Right Eternity Band To Pair with Your Pave Engagement Ring

So you have your beautiful and delicate pave diamond engagement ring from Lauren B. Your engagement ring setting is gorgeous but picking the right wedding band is crucial to completing the look. Since you end up wearing the wedding band and engagement together longer than you wear the engagement ring separately it is important to cover all your bases.  Many of our custom engagement rings are made specially for a flush fit between the two while others allow for a small gap which looks beautiful as well.  Whether you own a halo or solitaire design continue reading here to see which pave wedding band you should pair with your delicate pave engagement ring.

Option 1:

The Matching band, Matching eternity band for engagement ringat approximately 1.7mm. This is the perfect match to your engagement ring and usually looked at as the safest bet. When worn alone this band has a very delicate look overall and together it gives the rings the appearance of one thick band. For those that love a matching look and want to detract the least amount possible from their engagement ring this one is for you! This also makes the perfect option for stacking thin bands, in any color metal, on either side of your ring for the future. Push presents here we come :)

Option 2:

slight thicker pave band for engagement ringSlightly thicker band at approximately 2.0mm. This slightly thicker option looks great with a
delicate pave ring and while not overpowering, adds just the right amount of extra pop and sparkle. The thickness is not overly noticeable and provides a nice contrast with your engagement ring. What we like about this option is that you can see the engagement ring and wedding band as separate entities. This band looks really nice on its own as well since it does not get lost on the hand or look too thin.

Option 3:

Noticeably thicker bcustom diamond eternity bandand at 2.5mm and up. These bands are for our Lauren B girls that love lots and lots of sparkle! The diamonds here are impressively sized and it is easy to see each distinctive stone set into the band. We like these with our pave rings for a flashier look and these are incredible worn on their own. Our flat pave rings in thicker sizes give the big look of a classic large eternity band however the fact that they have a flat and smooth interior makes them extremely comfortable and can sit very close to your engagement ring. This design is a sleek and modern take on a classic round cut diamond band. For those that like the look of the larger stones found in a shared prong basket and U shape diamond eternity bands here is the perfect alternative that will on special request fit flush next to your pave ring without clashing.  Check out model SOR-12410 for a perfect example of a thicker pave eternity band.

Option 4:

We are here to tell you that whoever said you can't mix metal colors is wrong! At Lauren B we love the look of mixing rose white and yellow gold for a modern and unique look. Rose and yellow gold are definitely trending right now however some prefer not to stray from the traditional white and platinum engagement ring settings. Getting your pave band in any thickness but in rose or yellow allows you to stay on trend without committing to a color for your actual engagement ring. Yellow and rose will give a nice contrast to your engagement ring and add a gorgeous pop of color.

No matter your preference at Lauren B we can help you select the perfect "match" for your custom engagement ring.
